Training on presentation skills and diplomatic techniques Prishtina, 14-15 March 2016 - Diplomatic Academy in cooperation with the Ambassador Partnership, within the work plan for this year, on 14 and 15 March, have organized next training whereas this time the topic was the public presentation skills and the techniques of diplomacy. Training was held according to concepts and under the guidance of two experts from London, John Buck and Charles Crawford, who are career diplomats with long experience and theoretical knowledge of diplomacy. Experts from London have brought advanced practices, which make them be demanded for training diplomats around different countries of the world. Diplomats Buck and Crawford, with concrete examples and visual illustrations have shown how a public presentation could be more effective, the setting of arguments and presentation of speeches, body language, specific reactions to newspaper writings, the way of communicating with editors, analysis and reports from embassies, negotiations and many other techniques, which enable efficient representation of diplomats during their work. The training was attended by officials of the MFA and officials from several ministries and other institutions, whose work is related to the topic of training. At the conclusion of the two-day training, Director of the Diplomatic Academy Mr. Sk nder Durmishi, thanked diplomats Buck and Crawford and expressed interest of the Academy that on the basis of the existing cooperation agreement with the The Ambassador Partnership, organize trainings and similar activities in future according to needs and priorities of the MFA.
